VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH JUNIORS

Message from Ronnie Smyth:

I have been involved with Annadale Juniors for thirty five years.  I am not now taking an active role in the coaching but still have a great interest in the development of the Junior Club.  I am looking for volunteers to assist with the running of the junior club.  Last year we were successful in getting four excellent helpers, namely two parents and two former club members, who were willing to put something back into the club.  They proved to be a real asset to the Junior club and will be with us again this year.

However we need more help to cope with the increased demand in the number of boys and girls who want to play hockey!  Volunteering does not mean you have to coach kids – you do NOT have to have played or coached hockey.  This could be something as simple as making the hot chocolate for the parents or even booking the kids into training (due to Covid 19 regulations and the necessity to maintain accurate records the club is sourcing an phone app to keep accurate records of people attending training).

If you feel that you can help in any way please put your name forward and support will be available to assist you in the development of our young players.  Contact Peter Robson, our Junior club convenor, if you feel this might be for you.  Peter is available on 07703 366 276.

Junior Club training is on Monday nights at Grosvenor Grammar School from 6:30pm – 7:30 pm.

Many thanks

Ronnie Smyth
